Jazmin & Azami
Took these shots during the THING FEST in Port Townsend in 2023.
It wasn’t planned at all—I was simply waiting for Abe Kiser to play her acoustic set on a custom soundstage when Jazmin and Azami crept in silently. I had a pair of zoom lenses that covered a lot of the ground they were covering. I hope I captured how hypnotizing their movements were here. I then applied a vintage veneer to the photos later.
Definitely a highlight of my photo-taking from 2023.
